Hi Friends! I've been working harder to incorporate running into my weekly fitness routine. What I have found is that the right shoe is KEY! Currently, I am running in Brooks I will link the ones I have below. Before now I've tried Nike, Adidas, Asics, Mizuno you name it I feel like I've tried it. On Running has recently been coming up on my searches but I don't know much about them. Have you tried them? Do you love them? Tell me everything! My current running schedule is 1-2 Peloton digital runs of about 20 minutes on a regular treadmill (I'm dying to purchase a Peloton Tread) and one run outdoors. I would love to run outside more but honestly running alone creeps me out and my husband can only come with me on the weekends. I would love to hear from you if you have a shoe recommendation or even advice on how to transition from a beginner to intermediate. Love ya, Sammi <3 Current shoe: https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/brooks-womens-ricochet-le-...
Being able to notice when you need to take a moment and step back from the hustle and bustle of life and reset yourself is so important. I find myself doing this a couple of times a year and those around me don't always understand. What I don't do is just shut myself and leave people wondering how I feel about my relationship with them is going. I like to have a conversation and let them know that I can't go to that particular event or volunteer to do that thing because I am focusing my time on myself at the moment. If you are anything like me you have a million things going on at all times work, husband, kids, school, sports, friends, family etc. We can manage everything for a short period of time before we start to feel like we are going crazy. Take time each week to write down what you NEED to do that week and what you would LIKE to do that week. If you have a goal you are working towards try to set aside at least an hour a day to work on it or plan it out differently...
